Merry Monday Challenge #232; Tag You're It Challenge #64

Hi everyone ~
I'm back to share 2 cards, and I'm getting in right under the wire with my first card for the Merry Monday Challenge. Here is their beautiful inspiration photo:

And, here is my card:

Everything except the sequins on this card is from MFT :) I was inspired by the coffee mug and used a new set of dies that I received from my blog friend Karren...Thank you again, I'm loving this set! I used one of the shadow dies for the saucer, and a stamped and die cut snowflake, which was embossed with iridescent EP. I also love the touch of red in the photo so I added the striped papers...Lastly, I placed some silver thread behind the mug, and that was it!

I also created a tag for the current Tag You're It Challenge. Lynn Put created this lovely tag for our inspiration:

And, here is mine:

My hubby is a big fan of cocoa, so I thought this would be a fun tag to attach to his Valentine's Day gift. I used Copics to color the mug and iridescent EP for the snowflake, but it's hard to see all the sparkle on screen...oh, well ~ Love this charming sentiment, too!

So, that's it for me...I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend, and getting in some crafty time ~

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Darnell's NBUS Challenge #9; SSS Flickr Challenge #63; CASology Challenge #233

Hello again ~ I'm back to share a few cards I created for some of my favorite challenges. First up is Darnell's NBUS Challenge #9 and the current SSS Flickr Challenge for the theme 'Favorite Technique'.

One of my favorite techniques is to blend my inks to create an ombre effect. For this card, I used 3 shades of pink with the darkest shade at the bottom of the heart. The sentiment is also SSS, but from an old set (Like Your Style) which is no longer available.
I would also like to add this card to the CAS on Sunday Challenge #100 for the theme 'Hearts'.

My 2nd card is for this week's CASology Challenge for the Cue Card 'Glisten' ~

I recently bought Nuvo Glimmer Paste (Blue Topaz), and the shimmer is amazing! I die cut the card base with the PTI wave, and backed it with vellum, then filled it with the paste. Then, I stamped the anchor with Versamark and covered it with Iridescent Sparkle EP, and used Gold EP for the sentiment. The rope was die cut with Gold Luxe cardstock, which I also used for the border.

That's it for me...I hope everyone is having a great week!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Addicted to CAS Challenge #103

Hi there, blog friends ~
The Addicted to CAS Team has been on break to celebrate the holidays, and we are back with the first challenge of the New Year!

As you can see, our Code Word is 'Wish'
Our Sponsor is Create a Smile
Our Hostess is Anja
And, our Guest Designer for this challenge is Michelle Lupton!

Here is my take on the Code Word:

I chose one flower from the MFT Fancy Flowers Card Kit, and masked each one to create a corner bouquet, then colored them with Copics. The SSS sentiment was stamped in Versafine and sprinkled with clear EP to give it some shine. I also added some WOS and Glossy Accents to the centers of the flowers...and that was it!

My teammates have created some beautiful cards, so be sure to check out the ATCAS Challenge Blog...We would love to see your take on the code word!

Have a great weekend ~
