Addicted to Stamps Challenge #142

Hi everyone,
Well, it's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More, and our theme is 'Make Your Mark'. You can use markers, water color inks, colored pencils...whatever medium you like to color with! A Day For Daisies is our sponsor for this challenge, and they will be awarding a $12.00 Gift Certificate to the winner.

For my first card, I used a digital image from our sponsor:

I colored this really sweet image (called "Picked Bouquet") with Copics, and die cut the panel with an old Spellbinders mat to add some texture to the card. The sentiment is stamped in black ink, except for the word 'Shine', which I embossed with Black Glitter EP.

 Here is my 2nd card:

I was so excited to play with this cute stamp set...so, I inked up the elephant and bunny and colored them in with Copic markers. I thought it would be fun to add vellum clouds and a few silver stars and to finish it off with a white embossed sentiment!

My teammates have uploaded their beautiful cards to the gallery which I hope inspires you to join us for this weeks' challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by...your visits and comments always make me smile ~

Muse Card Challenge #114 & Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #17

Hi everyone ~ I have two cards to share for a few challenges. The first is the Muse Card Challenge and this week Marion Vagg has provided us with a card for inspiration. Here is my card:

A rather literal interpretation, but I do love this butterfly die. I used Distress inks for the small panel, and die cut the butterfly from the PTI set 'Life is Beautiful'. I then cut the solid die cut from vellum, and added a few gems and sequins. The card base was embossed with PTI's Linen/Canvas Impression Plate. It's difficult to see the texture (at least on my screen), so here is a close-up:

I'm also playing along with the SSS Flickr Challenge, which is a color challenge. Here is my card:

For this card, I used my SSS Stencil 'Bouquet of Flowers' and Hero Arts Shadow inks. The sentiment is from the SSS/Mama Elephant stamp set 'Summer Garden' and the die cut banner is by Lifestyle Crafts. I am also entering this card into SSS Wednesday Challenge for the theme, Clean & Simple.

That's it for me...Thanks so much for stopping by,

Addicted to CAS Challenge #62

Hi everyone,
Time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, and this time I will be the Hostess and have chosen Black, White & Gold for the color palette! We are also welcoming back our Guest Designer Pia of Pia's Creative World...Love her fabulous card! Our sponsor for this challenge is Eureka Stamps, and the winner will receive three digital images of their choice!
Here is my card:

I kept it really simple by stamping the outline of the flowers in black and the centers (and sentiment) with Delicata Gold ink. I created masks so that I could add dimension by overlapping the flowers, then a rectangle frame to emboss around the image and a scallop border die from Mama Elephant.
Note: Sentiment is from Avery Elle 'Sentimental Swirls' which seems to be discontinued.

That's it for me today...I hope you'll stop by the gallery to see what my teammates have created and play along with us in the challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by,

Hello everyone, and welcome to the a2z Scrapbooking Birthday Blog Hop Bash!!!  You should be arriving from the a2z Scrapbooking Blog.  If this is your first stop you'll want to begin at a2z Scrapbooking blog so you don't miss out on any of the fun and beautiful creations that our DT is sharing today.

Giveaway:
We will be giving away a $25.00 Gift Certificate to the a2z Store to a randomly selected person who leaves a comment on each blog post along the hop, so be sure to do that! Here is my card:

For my card, I cut the Hero Arts 'Swirly Background' image with my Silhouette and placed the bright teal cardstock from DCWV behind it to add impact. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts/Studio Calico stamp set that I received from a SC class about a year ago. I wanted to keep the focus on the swirly pattern, so I added a few silver stars, and that was it!

Your next stop on the hop is my dear friend Betty who never ceases to amaze me with her talents! I have also provided a link to all of the DT blogs, so if you should lose your way, feel free to stop back here to start hopping again :)
